Question:
How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

Answer:
My production skills developed throughout this project because I got better with camera angles, scenery, planning and organization. Before starting this project i was limited on the different camera angles and shots i took, but now i understand the meaning behind certain them and why actors/magazine producers use the shots that they do. Throughout this I've learned that fitness magazines usually have a medicinal scenery in the background of things like: the beach, a park, a track or in a gym. They do this because those are typically the places people exercise or workout at. Also, this project made me be more productive and organized because i had to plan interviews, schedule photo shoots, scout locations and more. So overall, I think my production skills got impressively better.

Question:
How does your project engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

Answer:
My project engages with audiences because I used props like, a yoga mat, weights water and fruit to speak to people who are on a weight loss journey because those are the things most associated with exercising and these will add to the professionalism of the magazine. The project would be distributed as a real media text by utilizing the windows of coffee shops.

Question:
How does your project use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?
Answer:
My magazine uses conventions of my genre because I was able to incorporate quotes and big bold words of my cover page, just as a health, fitness, or wellness magazine might. I used these conventions because i saw them being used in the Women's Health magazine and the Men's Health Magazine. My magazine represent women in their early adulthood and how they cope and deal with their weight "issues". Since obesity is a worldwide issue this magazine helps to show women or people all around the world what things they could do to transition onto a healthier lifestyle.
